Things I wish I knew before I tried it
While I experienced friendly service and found the bed comfortable, the bathroom layout was quite strange, resembling an old European style. The kitchenette area was a nice touch, but the exterior desperately needs TLC. Expect a nostalgic stay, but don't come in search of modern luxury.

Property was charming and nice, I loved the stay.
The room was large and functional with tv when I arrived. The stuff where helpful, and the services were great.

The building was in poor repair; even the potted plants outside the motel office were dead. The coffee pot did not look like it was washed.

Location
Front door was broken, no towels in the room, outside of building was unkempt and full of spiderwebs. Cleaning staff were noisy and arguing outside of room. The whole hotel felt very unclean.

Price was okay for what it was. Free wi-fi is nice. Rooms are good size.
This place is quite rough around the edges. They had some trouble with their computer at the front desk. The first room they had me in had a non-functioning bathroom light. Also, the cushions on the chair in the room were rather stained. The staff were quite nice about moving me into a different room, which was fine.

Just a great fit for resting at all in Cascade Locks with really good value. The shower was super clean despite the funky layout with the toilet right next to it. Make sure to check out the waterfront park nearby.

The staff was friendly and accommodating.
The building is in shambles. The toilet seat was broken in my room and just duct-taped together. There are spider webs EVERYWHERE. Big chunks of paint are missing off doors, etc. the place needs to be updated and cleaned.
